With its warm, unassuming ambience, our restaurant the Parker House Vermont is a modern, light-hearted approach to the quintessential Vermont dining experience. Offering signature cocktails, unique wines and a dinner menu consisting of seasonally inspired dishes from our Kitchen Garden and Nearby Farms. It's a local hot spot in the summer months, visitors can enjoy cocktails outdoors on the patio or veranda, overlooking the Ottaquechee River or in the cooler months in front of a welcoming fireplace. Perched in the village center, the inn' fantastic vista overlooks the Ottauquechee River, Covered Bridge and Waterfalls, The Mill at Simon Pearce, and daily hot air balloons!

We were visiting from Rhode Island and had planned to eat at Simon Pearce but they were all booked up. So we walked across the parking area to the Parker House restaurant. We were a party of two without a reservation, showing up around dinnertime. All of their tables were already reserved too but they managed to squeeze us in at a small table in the bar area. We ended up having a wonderful evening! The cocktails, service, and food were all amazing. I think we spent at least three hours there - at one point our server kindly told us "the table's yours for the night so don't rush". After dinner we weren't sure what drink we wanted and the bartender (Adam) came over to us personally to have us try a drink before we ordered; once we gave him feedback he immediately went back to the bar and brought us just what we wanted. Next time we're in town we won't even try to go to Simon Pearce - we'll just go back to Parker House!

AMAZING FOOD!! I was very pleased when I sat down to eat. The music is very welcoming and the scenery is too. My favorite food was the Bacon Burger! If you wanna have a family dinner, date night or something else, COME HEAR!

Beautiful inn with amazing views of the ottoquechee river and the BEST food around. Not to mention the wicked cool bartender and his wife who is the chef. Always amazing food, drinks, and company.
